# How to play

1. **Setting Up for Gameplay:**
   * **Platform:** Tamablockchi runs on the Ethereum mainnet, ensuring a secure and decentralized gaming experience.
   * **Requirements:** To play, you need either Metamask or Trust Wallet installed on your desktop or mobile phone.
   * **Acquiring $TAMA Tokens:** You need $TAMA tokens to participate. These can be purchased through the Uniswap platform. Here's the direct link to acquire $TAMA tokens: [Buy $TAMA Tokens](https://app.uniswap.org/tokens/ethereum/0x7857becfad52aa32996dcb4425d74181c3bbcfa8).
2. **Starting the Game:**
   * Navigate to the game's website at [Tamablockchi Game](https://tamablockchi.com/game) to begin your adventure.
3. **Minting Your Pet:**
   * To mint your pet, click on the 'Mint Pet' button. This action will cost 10,000 $TAMA tokens.
   * Note that only one pet can be minted per wallet. However, there's no token fee for transferring pets, so you can move tokens to another wallet if you wish to have several pets.
4. **Interacting with Your Pet:**
   * Every 140 blocks, approximately every 30 minutes, you have the opportunity to interact with your pet by pressing the 'Pet' button.
5. **Pet Actions and Rewards:**
   * After petting is verified on the blockchain, a random action will occur, each with different effects:
     * Water, Feed, Cheer, Train: Each gives 1 experience point.
     * Cookie: Gives 3 experience points.
     * Poop: Yields an amount of poop equivalent to your pet's level.
6. **Collecting Ethereum Rewards:**
   * Once your pet reaches level 2, you can start collecting Ethereum (ETH) as part of the game's rewards.
